For Veterans, their night terrors take over as they struggle to keep out the horrors of war, only to wake up with debilitating anxiety and no relief in sight. They can't do simple, everyday tasks and be in public so, they panic, isolate, self medicate, and spiral into the darkest depression before killing themselves; leaving behind hopelessly broken kids and families in desperate despair.

For dogs like, Sophia, their nightmare is just beginning. Locked in a cage, they powerlessly tremble with fear as their 72 hr clock winds down to zero before being dragged by their necks into a cold room and forced to take their last breath. They come in to this life innocent and dependent upon people to do the right thing but they end up discarded and in body bags.
