Mira was beaten to death with a board, by a 71 year old Kentucky man. A neighbor who witnessed the slaying was horrified by his actions and that a young girl was beside him watching. The witness quickly contacted animal control and after taking her in, she began having seizures. The rescue group who tried to save her discovered that she had also been poisoned with anti-freeze.
Sadly, this savage individual walked away as a free man. Mira and all of the people who fought for her life and justice, were all let down as darkness won the day.
